How does stump grinding work?
We use a stump grinder to chip the stump down below ground level, leaving a pile of wood chips and making the area easier to restore with soil/seed or landscaping.
Do you remove the roots too?
Stump grinding removes the stump and can reduce surface roots that are in the way, but it doesn’t remove every root underground. Over time, remaining roots naturally break down.
How long does stump grinding take?
Many single-stump jobs are quick, but time depends on stump size, wood type, root flare, access, and how many stumps you have. We’ll give a realistic estimate once we see the details.
